last year, for lab3 and 4, one group did a second decoder at address 241, to get 16 lights total, then connected an alphanumeric 16 segment light.
as a thought exercise:
how many lights (minimum number) would you need to make
a pushbroom capable of generating an 80x24 text display screen?
answer: 192 lights:
(for 192 by 480 pixels)
why?
note that this could be done with 24 groups of 8 lights.
